The Restriction on the Number of K-ETA Applications due to Repetitive Application

Due to repeated re-submission of applications, assessment for K-ETA applications gets delayed. To prevent inconvenience to other applicants, the number of K-ETA re-applications is restricted.

If applicants applied for K-ETA 3 times and more in the past 6 months, they can re-apply for K-ETA after 6 months from the date of the result of the first application is notified.
- If the applicants applied for K-ETA 10 times, they can re-apply for K-ETA after 6 months from the date of the result of the 8th application is notified.

※ For example, if the assessment of the first application was completed on May 23, 2022, and the K-ETA application was rejected more than 3 times in the past 6 months, the applicants cannot re-apply for K-ETA until November 23, 2022.

- However, this policy does not apply to the re-application caused by incorrect personal information (e.g. passport number, name, date of birth, sex, nationality, photo etc.).

Please take note of the information above to avoid any disadvantages.

Applicants who wish to enter Korea during the restriction period, need to apply for a visa at a nearest Korean Embassy or Consulate.
